the first official week of daycare and back to work. Thank goodness for the practice run beforehand, otherwise I don't know how I would have handled it. Dad was there to keep me together too. Only a few tears were shed as the big girl went to her first week of daycare and making friends.
Gwen is the youngest girl in her "class" and seems to be enjoying her time at Kids Count. So much so, that she's sleeping almost 8 hours at night, waking only once to eat before we have to wake her up to get ready to go.
We are still perfecting our morning routine, it's still hard to get up every morning and get going. It's also been hard to motivate at work, but I keep pushing myself. The end of the day just doesn't seem to come fast enough.
Gwen's official 3 month birthday was yesterday. It's so hard to believe that we've already gotten this far. She's the happiest baby and really enjoys being on the floor playing and kicking around. She's become very vocal and loves to squeal and jibber jabber. When she really finds her voice she tries to squeal really loud, it's pretty funny. Soon enough she'll be mobile and we are trying to savor and remember all of stages, they are passing quickly.
Ozzie has been catching up on sleep this past week, falling back into his usual routine of hanging out in the front living room and barking at the various school bus pick up and drop offs throughout the day. I can tell that he's back in action, because the front windows are full of nose prints :) He's very happy when we get home every night, as you can see in one of the pictures - he was kind enough to give his sister his prize possession.
We hope everyone is well and we are really looking forward to Spring!
