Once again, time has slipped away from me and I'm tardy on the updates. We are almost through August, what a busy month! Gwen has one more week of swim class, fall ball starts next week and we are trying to figure out what to do with Labor Day weekend. Where did the summer go? Just when it starts to get all hot and steamy :)
Gwen was at the doctor a few weeks back for her 9 month checkup. No shots this time!!
Weight: 20.14 lbs. (85%)
Length: 28 3/4 in. (90%)
Head: 17 3/4 in. (80%)
Everything seems to be in order, so back in 3 months for the one year. YIKES! Gwenie has a total of 3 teeth, 2 bottoms and 1 upper. We've started trying people food and slowly but surely she is showing us what she likes and dislikes. Gwen is quite the crawler, fast little bugger. She stands up and has recently started letting go of things and letting herself plop down to her bum. She seems to have no fear, well maybe of really loud noises. New sounds and gibberish are being voiced by her every day and she's almost got waving down. She's still full of smiles, which is even cuter because her upper tooth is not one of the front ones...I think it's one of her 'eye' teeth...off center to the side. She's apparently been sharpening it on the side of her crib and we recently found some teeth marks in the wood!!
We keep saying each month with Gwen is our favorite, but really, it all just keeps getting better and better as we watch her take the world in with baby eyes.
