Wow, been wayyyy tooo long since our last post. Unfortunately our home computer decided to permanently retire and we are in the process of getting the information recovered off of it...mainly pictures of Gwen's first year - since our last back up was before she was born. We are up and running again with a new and faster PC, it's amazing!
A lot has happened since our last post. Gwen continues to amaze us every day. She's such a sponge, just taking in so much information and then copying some of it. We have to be careful of what we say and do now for sure. Her 15 month appointment was earlier this month. She's right in line with all of the milestones for her age, here are her stats:
Weight: 23.11 lbs (70%)
Length: 32 1/2 inches (96%)
So, she's tall and skinny for her age. Don't we all wish we were like that :-)
Everything is interesting to Gwen. Nothing gets past her. She still loves to put things in her mouth. We are really looking forward to when those days are over. She's just about got all of her teeth (thank god because teething is so incredibly hard on all of us)! She's starting to talk a little more, making different sounds all of the time. She LOVES Elmo and kitty cats, trying to ride Ozzie, wearing her hat and mittens (even in the house), grapes, a stuffed monkey toy they have at daycare, drawing on the magna-doodle thing and climbing the stairs - she's just learning how to come down them now.
