So much attitude these days from Ms. Gwen. I don't think there's a chapter in our "What to Expect, the Toddler Years" book. We are really being challanged right now by our almost 17 month old. Now that the weather has been nice, Gwen has a need to walk everywhere by herself. Out to the car in the morning, from the car to daycare, into the grocery store, WHEREVER she can walk she wants to. She's learned to hold hands, but only for a little while. Once it's time to come back inside, there is a tantrum that ensues. I'd take a picture of her right now, but there's a nice little bruise on her forehead from the latest throwback. Once we are finally in the house, it's another 20 minutes before we are allowed to take her jacket off. Really, it's amusing.
We've been getting to a local park a little bit more. Gwen is manuvering the stairs and slide a little easier each time. The rocks are especially fun and really hope that she doesn't become the kid who throws rocks at the playground!
