Well, the moment all mom's and dad's dread.....teething, has arrived. We are proud to say that Gwenie has broken through on her first tooth. Some times have been easier than others, but unfortunately there hasn't been much that can give her total comfort. She's putting everything within reach into her mouth. At this point we are past the germ factor and letting her have at it (within reason of course). She's really enjoyed chewing on the cloth table placemat, the teething rings just were not cutting it (no pun intended).
It seems that in the past week Gwen has gained great strength. Her movements are much more forceful and she rumbles and tumbles without a second thought on where she might land. She's up on all fours rocking back and forth in preparation for crawling and has started getting to her tiptoes...like a pro yoga pose. We are exploring many more fruits, veggies and some of the meats. So far she seems to like all of the baby food. We haven't been able to get any funny face pictures or video yet!
We've had a big week around the Williamson house. Lots of house projects have gotten done with the help of Nana and Papa from Ohio. The "Gwenie Trees" were delivered and planted over the weekend, the yard has taken on a whole new look!
We look forward to many more days of beautiful weather and getting out to enjoy it!
