Beautiful Blue Eyed Girl

Gwen was lucky enough to inherit her daddy's beautiful eyes. I'm hoping that she'll get a beautiful blonde, curly mane...but so far we just have some fuzz on top with a few long strays that didn't fall out with the other originals after she was born.

We've been enjoying the weather, getting out in the stroller after work (hooking up our sled dog to the side as well) and ditching the winter duds that Gwen had grown quite accustomed too. We look forward to many more nights outside, as softball season is in full swing...literally. We haven't brought big brother yet, but plan to soon. So many new routines to figure out before throwing the wild man into the mix.

Gwen's getting her solids twice a day now and has figured out that applesauce makes rice cereal much better. Duh. We will be experimenting with new foods in the coming weeks, hopefully Gwen learns that veggies rule too.

She's a bit more mobile, scooting herself around and getting her knees up underneath herself in preparation for crawling. Right now she's in the rocking mode and launches herself forward...not so good in the crib....yikes!

The first Mommy's Day was great! Dad got Mom some trees for the yard (Gwenie trees), Ozzie got Mom a DVD so he can snuggle on the couch with her and Gwenie got a mommy necklace.

She's for sure growing out of her jammies as fast as we buy them...we are going to have to resort to just cutting all of the feet off of them. I'll post her 6 months stats from earlier today....hard to believe 6 months has already gone by. Insane.
