You'll see the room is pretty much done sans bed and dresser. Lots of gear just waiting to be used.
Still in need of a crib.....Babies R Us (yes, the "R" is suppose to be backwards) - is telling me that the crib WE ARE ON A WAITING LIST FOR, will be in the store by the middle of the month. Hopefully BB (I've decided to abbreviate Baby Buckeye) doesn't come early, otherwise he or she will be fighting for bed room with Ozzie.
We are 9th on the waiting list, but it's just a small technicality. Apparently they call everyone right in a row AND you can pay over the phone to secure it right away and then go pick it up - so if someone doesn't answer when they call, HA - they may miss out. Sadly enough, I've kept my cell phone very close. If they get 9 cribs in their shipment this is a moot point, but they don't know how many they will get. ARGH. Come on WINNA WINNA CHICKEN DINNA.
Yes, this is my biggest life worry right now. Laugh here now.

Here is where it would be so cool to have a black market baby crib connection. Unfortunately, I don't have one. If you ever need a mortgage, though, let me know.
p.s. in the olden days babies just slept in an open dresser drawer. BB will be fine.

Thanks for the comments. We have the crib now, it's on the list for this weekend so no longer will we have to go with the dresser drawer option (phew).
Hopefully everyone enjoys the blog, we'll try to be better on the postings
