We had our first swim class with Gwenie this past Wednesday night. For the next 10 weeks Gwen will be heading into the pool for a half hour to play games with her friends. There were 4 babies in last week's class...all of which were accompanied by their dad. All of the mom's sat on the sidelines and watched, it was pretty cute. No way are the ladies getting into suits. phew. Gwen did very well. She never cried or acted like she didn't want to be in the water. The teacher and the dad's sang nursery rhymes and played with various water toys. There wasn't any dunking yet, but I'm going to assume that as the weeks go on, there will be some underwater action.
