Happy One Week Birthday!

We've had a pretty big week around the Williamson household. Gwen seems to changing every day, becoming more alert and eating like a champ. She had her first outing yesterday since she's been home from the hospital. We went to the doctor for a check up and the doctor would like to see Gwen gaining a bit more weight. She has maintained her weight from hospital discharge, but needs to be eating more. Her jaundice numbers have really decreased and she's pretty much lost her yellow hue. She'll be going back in tomorrow morning for another weigh in!

She's sleeping a good amount during the night, at least 2 1/2 hours at at time, sometimes 3 and then we wake her up to eat. She's not a big fan of being woken up, but she definitely knows that it pays off in the end.

Ozzie is doing really well with Gwen. He's very curious and we have done a really good job on paying attention to him when he's around the baby. He likes to sniff her and has gotten a few licks in here and there. He's currently at the dog park for some time with Dad. We keep telling Ozzie that this baby thing will payoff off handsomely once Gwen starts dropping food a few months down the line. Not sure he buys it yet. Every time she cries (which isn't very often) he looks at us like "Hey, are you guys going to do something about this!" Last night he even slept in a different room, I think Gwen's late night feedings are cutting into his beauty sleep.

This picture was taken this morning of Gwen...I've gone a little crazy with the pink - it's nice to have girlie clothes, she looks so cute in everything.
